International Students
Ƶ has alumni from more than 40 countries working in ministry, missions, and the marketplace in over 150 countries and around the world. Several of our faculty have lived and worked “To Know Him and Make Him Known” in more than 25 nations.
Who is an international student?
If you are not a citizen of the United States you are classified as an international student.International students are non-immigrants to the United States and need a temporary U.S. visa. If accepted to CIU, we will provide Form I-20 so you can begin the process to apply for your F-1 student visa.
Who is not an international student?
You are not considered an international student if you hold dual citizenship or are a permanent resident of the United States. Permanent residents are required to submit proof of residency along with their application.
International Student Requirements
In addition to the items listed on theorgraduateapplication instructions complete the following:

Students who are wanting to study on campus with an F-1 visa must also submit aCertification of Funds Formand a depositwhich will be applied to your CIU tuition and fees.
Make note of all application deadlines and fees so that your application process is not interrupted.
International students planning to study strictly online from outside the United States are not required to have an F-1 visa.
