CIU Enrollment Increases

Growth is especially strong in CIU's online degree programs.

The spring semester at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ is in full swing with more students in the classroom and more students studying online.

CIU Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, Silvia Lucaschi-Decker, reports a Spring enrollment increase of over four percent from the 2016-2017 academic year to the 2017-18 academic year.

The total number of undergraduate and graduate students is now over the century mark at 1,036. Growth is especially strong in CIU’s online degree programs increasing by almost 84 percent from the 2016 Fall semester to the 2017 Fall semester. The growth is likely to continue this Spring when three online business cohorts begin Jan. 30 and more new students start classes in March.

Lucaschi-Decker says the word is getting out about CIU’s quality on-campus and online academic programs through “seasoned online recruiters, program-specific marketing and creating partnerships with local churches.â€
