Ƶ alumna Chandra Briggman says she is honored to be named the new president/chief executive officer of Activation Capital in Richmond, Virginia. assists business startups in accessing the tools and resources needed to navigate the entrepreneurial process.

Briggman’s career spans 24 years in national and regional strategy, innovation, and marketing in both startups and large enterprises. Prior to accepting the position with Activation Capital, Briggman was director of Venture Café Foundation, a nonprofit working to grow entrepreneurship acrossNew England. She has also held innovation roles with theUnited States Postal ServiceinWashington, D.C., and held leadership roles with multiple startups.
Briggman is an active member of the entrepreneurship and innovation community, including as an instructor, coach/mentor, public speaker, and chair of theboard for a nonprofit dedicated to youth entrepreneurship.
