A mandate to protect the environment

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ alumnus Dr. Tom Mullikin, chairman of the , told CIU students during the annual World Christian Week, “It’s crystal clear; the Lord made the Earth. Then He told us to work and keep the land.â€
Mullikin, who among other things, is a global expedition leader, earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ in 2021. He was one of three speakers during World Christian Week Prayer Day. The week is set aside for students to consider the many roles in World Evangelization, a CIU core value.Ìý
Mullikin quoted Protestant Reformer John Calvin, noting that God has sown into the minds of men and women a portion of the knowledge of Himself:
“God sowed into men’s minds that seed of religion of which we have spoken but revealed himself and daily discloses Himself in the whole workmanship of the universe. As a consequence, men cannot open their eyes without being compelled to see him.â€
