CIU students thank Governor, Legislators

Students representing Ƶ met with South Carolina and state legislators during Higher Education Day at the Statehouse.

They joined students from other South Carolina colleges and universities that hold membership in (South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities).

The students were saying “Thanks for our Tuition Grants!” The Tuition Grants program figures largely in financial aid for South Carolina students who choose to stay in the state and attend private colleges and universities. For academic year 2022-23, more than 12,000 South Carolina resident students attending SCICU colleges and universities are relying on the SC Tuition Grant to help them afford and attend the private college that best meets their educational, professional development, and aspirational needs.
